Known as the 'Vettai Drummer', Joshua is a familiar figure in the Singapore drum scene, and has been performing and teaching for more than a decade. He has garnered Distinctions in all internationally recognised examinations and professional certifications, such as, Pop Music Theory, Grade 8 Drum Kit, Associate and Licentiate Diplomas by the London College of Music and Rockschool UK. A firm believer & advocate of Life-long learning, Joshua has continues to pursue his Fellowship diploma.
Joshua was also the trainer for the Academy of Rock Singapore, Philippines and Myanmar where he spearheaded the drum department coaching and conducting sessions for the teachers as well as preparing the teachers for their graded exams and diploma. Joshua also developed an instructional drum kit syllabus for the school apart from managing Drumstick Studios, a dedicated drum school he founded in 2006 which evolved into a contemporary music school in September 2012. Besides the syllabuses written for Academy of Rock, Joshua also wrote and produced an educational book titled “Drumming for Children”.

ZULKIFLI M NOER
Born in Jakarta on 28 May 1977, Zulkifli M Noer started guitar lessons at the age of 7 under the guidance of Prof. Dr Johan Salim.
Being a talented guitarist, Zulkifli has emerged as a winner in 17 music competitions held in Indonesia from 1990 to 2003. He was appointed as one of the judges at the International Guitar Competition from 2013 to 2016, and was also one of the judges at Hwa Chong Institution Boarding School Talent Night Competition 2016 and 2017. He has also performed and conducted masterclass at numerous International guitar festival and concerts held in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand between 2014 to 2016.
Lee Jit Seng and Zulkifli M Noer are both instructors teaching at Cristofori.
LEE JIT SENG
Lee Jit Seng is an award winning drummer in South East Asia. He graduated from Lasalle College Of Arts in Singapore in 2009 and further his studies in USA in 2011. In Collective School Of Music, Jit Seng explored to merge various musical styles into his drum performance. Known for his technical skills and versatility as a drummer, he was invited to play and collaborate with many artists and involve in projects across a wide range of genres. Since 2009, he was invited to perform in Singapore Formula One Night Race and share the stages with many international artists such as Back Street Boys, Adam Lambert, Mariah Carey, Kyle Cox, etc. Jit Seng joined Singapore fusion jazz band Raghajazz in 2009 and performed in many festivals and concerts such as MOSAIC, MURFest, Singapore Rhapsodies, Asian Vibes Festival, etc. In 2012, Jit Seng was invited by The Prime Minister of Singapore- Lee Hsien Loong and his cabinets to perform in Chinese New Year Party at Istana. As a music educator, Jit Seng has over 10 years of teaching experience. He has been teaching drums and percussion in Cristofori Music School since 2012. In Cristofori, he has the opportunity to share his knowledge and passion with his students across the country.
GILBERT ROLAN NOGALES
Originally hailed from Manila, Philippines and has been in Singapore for more than 20 years. He was first recognized in Singapore when he bagged the Grand Champion title in 2007 Singapore Drum Fest. Gilbert is a professional session drummer and percussionist as he is well known in the Asian circuit. He has appeared and played in the famous TV show in the Philippines “Eat Bulaga”. He performed with top artists such as The Legendary “Juan Dela Cruz Band”, Mike Hanopol, Pepe Smith, Wally Gonzalez, Ariel Rivera, Pen-Pen ni Emil Sanglay and World reknown Singer/Composer Vennie Saturno. He has also played for Indonesian Artists Ariel of Peterpan, Once of Dewa, Harvey Malaiholo,Agnes Monica and some of the big names in Singapore's music scene, Renowned Singapore Music Director and Head Vocal coach of Singapore Idol, Babes Conde, Singapore's Paul McCartney, Jay Shotam, Rock Icon John Molina, Jazz Pianist/Music Director Stephen Francis just to name a few. Gilbert has numerous Recording Credits under his belt from Phil., Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia.

Tagged as an academic high-flyer after he emerged with first class honors, with a gold medal and two scholarships at NTU (Nanyang Technological University), James Pang quit his job and started My Drum School in his own home at the end of 2007. To date, 2,600 MDS students have benefited from Mr Pang and his team's passionate brand of Drum Education.
As a gospel drummer himself, he holds an Associate Diploma (A.Dip.A) at ANZCA (Australia & New Zealand Cultural Arts) and has played at numerous venues, the largest at Singapore Sports Hub with a crowd of 51,000 in 2015.

IRWAN SHAH SALLEH
Irwan Shah is a professional musician and educator who are primarily associated with the drums. He started playing the drums at the age of 12 and is also proficient on all percussions as well as guitar.
He has brought his talents to the stage as part of local Singapore bands Tabula, PAGE and 53A.
As a professional educator, Irwan Shah plays a pivotal role as part of the Academic Heads and one of the Chief Educators from Academy Of Rock Singapore.
He is also one of the few certified Roland V-DRUMS educators from South-East Asia and is a much sought after clinician internationally. In 2015 he was a judge at the Beijing Drum Summit held in the Beijing School of Contemporary Music, where he also held a drum clinic to give a talk and demonstrate on the Rockschool syllabus. This was a pivotal event in his career as an educator, sharing the stage with other notable drum educators such as Cris Coleman and Thomas Lang. Having achieved his Licentiate in Music Teaching from Rockschool in 2012, the multi-instrumentalist believes that every examination should start and end with a smile.

AARON JAMES LEE
Drummer Aaron James Lee is most known for his work as a member of celebrated Singaporean ensemble the Steve McQueens. Steadily emerging as a musician in his own right, Aaron’s artistry has made him one of the most sought after drummers in Singapore, for projects that involve everything from straight-ahead jazz, r&b to pop.
Aaron James is teaching as an instructor at The Music Lab.

Simon Yong is a Singaporean guitarist, singer, songwriter, sessionist, and producer known for his work with progressive rock band Zero Sequence, Shirlyn & the UnXpected, KINGS, Reverie, and most recently with his debut solo instrumental album “Alien Stole My Whiskey” (2013).
Having performed with American legendary drummer Dennis Chambers, Thailand’s guitar hero Jack Thammarat, and Japanese guitarist Takayoshi Ohmura (Babymetal), Simon has also thrilled thousands of audiences at the Singapore indoor and national stadiums, and many music festivals with his electrifying guitar solos over the last 20 years.
In his younger years, Simon has won two band competitions, and his music has been nominated for “Best Rock Song”, “Best Guitar Riff”, and “Best Genre Bending-Mindboggling-Out-Of-This-World-Track” in Malaysia's Voize.my's inaugural Independent Music Awards.
From national TV to numerous radio shows, the ESP Guitars and Audio-Technica endorsee has also performed in Malaysia, Japan, Australia, France, and USA. An influential figure in the music industry, this talented multi-instrumentalist who first started learning the organ at aged 4, is also a music educator, and has been conducting clinics and masterclasses for more than 10 years.

Vijesh currently plays for internationally renowned band, ‘Wormrot'. He has been playing drums for 16 years and has graduated from Lasalle College of the arts with a Diploma in Pop Music (performance). He has also given a masterclass and headlined Bandung Drums Day alongside Aaron Spears (Alicia Keys, Usher, James Brown, American Idol house band) and J.P. Bouvet.
Vijesh is well-versed in a range of styles including metal, rock, progressive, funk and soul and has studied various drummers such as Marco Minnemann, Derek Roddy and Thomas Pridgen to reach where he is.
He uses this to his advantage in order to tutor aspiring drummers to meet their best potential.

35 Guitar Avenue is where Vijesh is the sole drum instructor. The objective is one-to-one drum classes with a focus on techniques, transcription, rudiments, improvisation and sight reading. Optional lessons are offered according to the syllabus of Trinity Guildhall. All students under his tutelage, have obtained 100% passing rates in drum examinations to date. We provide customisable lessons to suit your objectives and interests and will progress at your own pace.
